If your student has been referred to Peer Court he/she will need to appear accompanied by a parent/gaurdian. Please bring the signed Parent Consent form with you to the hearing.
COURT HEARINGS: Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm during the school year from September - May. You will scheduled for a specific time between those hours. Expect your initial hearing to last about 1/2 hour.
DATE & TIME: You will receive a mailer with your scheduled date and time to appear at the Matheson Courthouse. PLEASE CALL the Peer Court office (801-322-1815) to confirm your appointment.
WHERE: Matheson Courthouse, 450 So. State Street, 2nd Floor
PLEASE ARRIVE PROMPTLY. If you arrive late you may have to wait.
FAILURE TO APPEAR will result in your students case being sent back to the referring person, who may issue your student a citation to Juvenile Court.
PARKING: There is a $2.00/hr charge to park beneath the Courthouse. Metered Parking is free after 6:00pm.
